The 26th and 27th of September 2009 saw the first National Audio Show held at Whittlebury Hall, Near Towcester, Northampton. We, in assocation with Black Rhodium were demonstrating the Chord Red Reference CD Player, the Roksan TMS 3, the new Musical Fidelity Primo Pre Amplifier, Audia Flight 100 Power Amplifier and the Focal Elektra 1038 loudspeakers. All cables were Black Rhodium, Ninja Speaker Cable, Cantata and Oratorio Interconnects and Crusader Mains Cables. |

The last review I did for the website was a fairly easy one. It was my own system, products I’d picked because I’d thought they were the best at their particular price points and the best to suit me! This review was going to be a bit more difficult – it was Mike’s System! Mike has been in the hi-fi business for more years than he cares to remember – but don’t let him know I said that! And, in all that time he has been searching for his perfect system – and now he reckons he’s found it. So there am I a comparative rookie called in to see if I agree with the ‘expert’. |
