We have just taken delivery of the New Musical Fidelity M3i Integrated Amplifier. Brief specifications £1000, 70 watts per channel, 6 line inputs including one which can be switched into pre amp bypass mode. Looks like a mini M6i.

There's a lot of competition around this price point so the M3i is going to have to be something special to take on the likes of Marantz, Roksan and Quad. First impressions? Very good!Our advice is if you're looking to spend around £1000 for an amplifier or cd player, don't buy anything until you've listened to this.
