Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier

The Eversolo Play CD Edition elegantly combines a high-performance network streamer, a premium slot-loading CD player/ripper, and a powerful integrated amplifier into a single, compact chassis.

The CD Player, Integrated Amplifier & DAC

Beneath its premium, CNC-machined aluminum alloy chassis, the Eversolo Play CD Edition houses a high-performance audio engine designed to drive your loudspeakers with absolute precision while breathing new life into physical media. A dedicated, side-mounted slot-loading CD drive allows you to play your compact discs with exceptional error correction or perform bit-perfect CD ripping directly to your local digital library.

Critical digital-to-analog conversion for both your discs and digital streams is handled by AKM’s premium 32-bit AK4493SEQ DAC utilizing VELVETSOUND™ technology, which drastically minimises harmonic distortion to accurately reproduce everything from subtle acoustic details to powerful musical impacts.

This clean signal is fed into a high-performance Class D amplifier that leverages PurePath™ Ultra HD technology and advanced gate driver error correction. Supported by an optimal, highly efficient PFC-LLC power supply with NTC thermistor overheat and startup current protection, the amplifier section delivers a robust, low-distortion continuous power output of 60W into 8Ω or 110W into 4Ω, effortlessly driving a wide variety of bookshelf and compact floorstanding speakers.

To ensure the system sounds immaculate in any environment, a built-in Room Correction feature utilises an external measurement microphone or your smartphone to automatically eliminate harsh environmental reflections, seamlessly tailoring the acoustics for both large living rooms and compact bedrooms. Sonic fine-tuning is comprehensive, featuring a multi-band professional EQ (comprising a 15-band graphic EQ and a 10-band parametric EQ with independent left/right channel adjustment), 23 tailored genre presets, and Smart Bass Management for precise crossover and phase alignment with the dedicated subwoofer output.

The Network Streamer

The Eversolo Play CD Edition acts as an exceptionally clever, boundary-free digital hub, powered by a multi-core ARM architecture module that is specifically optimised for high-bitrate streaming media. It deeply integrates leading music platforms—including TIDAL, Qobuz, IDAGIO, Amazon Music, TuneIn Radio, Radio Paradise, and Deezer—to enable high-resolution, lossless audio playback directly through the device.

Listeners can access tens of millions of tracks instantly using premium streaming protocols such as Roon Ready, Spotify Connect Lossless, Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, and JPLAY CERTIFIED. Beyond cloud-based music, the unit features robust LAN and cloud integration, supporting UPnP and WebDAV protocols to offer lightning-fast access to files on home computers, local NAS drives, and your newly ripped CD collection.

Navigating your collection is incredibly intuitive via either the front-panel 5.5-inch HD touchscreen or the fully updated Eversolo Control app for iOS, Android, and iPad. For a bit of spontaneous discovery, the "Listen at Will" feature sidesteps predictable algorithmic recommendations by randomly shuffling recommended tracks across both your streaming services and your local library. If you want to expand the experience, the built-in multi-room system seamlessly interconnects multiple Eversolo devices, allowing you to synchronise your music across the living room, study, or bedroom with a single tap.

Physical Hardware & Connectivity

The entire system is housed in a structurally rigid, full-coverage heat sink enclosure that keeps internal electronic components perfectly cool and shielded from external electromagnetic interference. The front panel features a vibrant, customisable RGB light ring around the volume control that transforms intangible melodies into visible lightscapes, shifting colours to match the musical genre.

The rear panel serves as the ultimate Hi-Fi connectivity hub, accommodating every source in your setup. For home entertainment, an HDMI ARC/eARC port allows you to deliver high-fidelity TV audio through your speakers, while a 12V Trigger In port allows for one-touch synchronized power management across your entire system. Digital audio devices can be connected via high-quality Optical and Coaxial inputs, and a stable Gigabit LAN port ensures flawless network transmission.

To support extensive external music libraries, high-speed USB 3.0 and USB 3.0 OTG ports offer instant playback from portable hard drives, while a dedicated USB Audio Out port (strictly compliant with the UAC protocol) can output pure digital streams up to DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz/32-bit to a professional external DAC. Finally, vinyl enthusiasts are fully catered for with an integrated, high-quality MM/MC Phono input that allows you to seamlessly blend classic analog warmth into this cutting-edge digital system.
